Hvordan kan eiendomsbransjen involvere nabolag, byens innbyggere, og samarbeide på tvers av bransjer og aktører?

Sharing is solving
How can urban society go from silo thinking to an extensive sharing culture where this culture can help solve complex challenges in our society ?

Keywords: Break free from the silos, business development, neighborhoods, knowledge sharing, co-creation

The real estate industry is conservative - how can necessary new solutions be implemented when this sector is also pressured on economic sustainability?

What can be learned from communities and networks like the Conduit, Rebel and 657? And what about the municipality run Oslo Science City - creating frames and incentives for business and people a like?
- Technology development and financing are necessary contributions to solving our major societal challenges, but it is the human factor that determines whether we succeed. What are the success criteria?

How can the real estate industry involve relevant and collaborate, co-create and develop across industries and stakeholders? What happens to traditional companies that are supposed to have everything "in house", rather than connecting to environments that have expertise in unique disciplines, when needed?

The establishment of innovation districts shows a greater willingness to think new about how knowledge and business are included in the urban structure - the Oslo Innovation District is still in the making.

OMA's event will focus on the business case related to sharing culture. We look at what the economic drivers are, how investors think, how community builders co-create and involve and how this is linked to innovation and new ways of thinking business and urban development. How can we make sure we are creating the technology champions of the decades to come? And how can we create a collaborative community that scales and accelerates solutions for a sustainable city- now and for the future? And - maybe most importantly can we ensure that new solutions are implemented?
